Grant Requests funded in 2015 by the MVMF
The MVMF received a total of 18 grant requests to review at their April 8, 2015 meeting. After careful review and discussion by MVMF board members, 17 grant requests had a portion of or their entire request funded by the Minnesota Veterinary Medical Foundation. In addition, the MVMF board decided to support the Minnesota turkey industry (Minnesota Turkey Growers Association) with a contribution to show that MVMF Cares about the devastating problem with avian flu they are experiencing in their industry. For a historical look at all the requests the MVMF has funded since its inception in 1990, see our MVMFCares.org website. Thank you for your support of the MVMF! Your support helped us reach the $1,000,000 mark of giving this past February as we handed out over $40,000 in scholarships to our veterinary students!

B.A.R.T has hired an executive director, Jack Perkins, who started in September 2014, he is shown in the photo (left) with Kelly Andrews accepting B.A.R.T’s 2015 grant.
